The Legend of Burning Man presents the story of a man whom everyone has heard of, but nobody knows his name. A myth for millions of people, capable of igniting the net at fire speed and triggering in his path a wave of revolutions.

It is a show that appears as a poetic and dream journey, based on real events, where video art, painting, theater, live music and performance merge into a brutal and explosive multimedia show that must be seen in action, moving through the 360° stage. It’s like this in order to be seen from all possible angles. A real vision proposed just as reality, or a viral piece of news on the net. Quite a circling path that attempts to answer a big question of our time: If we are all on the web, who is the spider?

The Company

Insectotròpics is a company founded in 2011 that gathers practitioners from different artistic fields and languages who are eager to experiment by fusing their different disciplines in order to create new multidisciplinary performances. Their shows combine live video, painting, theater and music. Caperucita Galáctica (2011), Bouazizi (2013) and ¡Cómprame! (2015), their previous shows, have toured the world and been praised by both audiences and critics while winning several prestigious awards.
